This Is What Life Is Like When You’re Diagnosed With Autism in Your Late 30s

While sitting alone in the waiting room, I stared at the colorfully painted wooden shapes strung along wires of the bead maze next to my chair. My clinical psychologist entered the room and handed me a letter to read on my own.
